Alejandro has a Law degree from La Salle University and a Master's degree from Carlos III University of Madrid. He has specialized studies in constitutional justice issues from the aforementioned university and the University of Pisa, Italy; University of Castilla la Mancha, Spain, among other institutions.

He also has a master´s in Government and Public Policy from the Universidad Panamericana. He is a specialist in the Government of International Institutions and Organizations, from the Villanueva University Center of the Complutense University of Madrid. He is also certified in the U.S. program “Government & Politics: Policy and Decision Making”. Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University.

Since 1995, his professional career has focused on the Federation’s Judicial Branch. He initially worked in the Federal Judiciary Council and later in the jurisdictional field itself, rising to various positions in the judicial career in multiple matters and federal instances, both in the District Courts, as well as in Circuit Courts. In 2009 he joined the Second Chamber of the Nation’s Supreme Court of Justice as Secretary of Study and Account and Coordinator, collaborating directly in the construction of the country´s most relevant criteria.

In his last stint at the Nation’s Supreme Court of Justice, until 2018, he served as its legal representative, in the role that he held for four years as Legal Secretary of the Presidency. During that period, he was also president of the Transparency Committee of that Institution and appeared before the Senate as a nominee to occupy the position of Commissioner of the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data.

At the academic level he has given multiple conferences in various centers. He is a recurring guest in diploma programs and courses at the Judicial School of the Judicial Branch of the Federation.

He has published some articles on constitutional law and public procurement.

He currently works as a litigator and consultant in constitutional and administrative justice, both in the public and private spheres. Since 2020 he has been an external consultant for Dorantes Advisors.
