Yazmín is a specialized lawyer in international trade and customs regulations with experience in dispute settlement procedures before the World Tarde Organization, and domestic regulations related with customs, trade facilitation programs (BASC, AEO) and intellectual property. Prior to Dorantes Advisors she collaborated in consulting firms specialized on providing soft landing services for the development of business of international companies in Mexico. She collaborated in the International Trade Practices Unit of the Secretariat of Economy in the resolution of antidumping and safeguards disputes, and in the development of projects related with NAFTA and with the Import Administration Antidumping Manual of the International Trade Administration of the Department of Commerce of USA. She studied Law at the Faculty of Law of the National Autonomous University of Mexico with pre-specialization in International Trade.
