Karen is a paralegal specialized in regulatory law, who has broad knowledge of the national applicable law, as well as of the applicable procedures for the preparation, adoption, and implementation of technical regulations (Normas Oficiales Mexicanas -NOM-).
Her professional experience includes supporting the legal interpretation of commitments within free trade agreements signed by Mexico, particularly in the areas of intellectual property, technical barriers to trade and good regulatory practices.
In 2020, she completed her law degree at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM, by its initials in Spanish). Before joining Dorantes Advisors, during 2016 and 2017, she was part of the Law Students Association "Nexum".
