Daniela works in the Intellectual Property area of Dorantes Advisors.

Before joining the firm, Daniela worked as an in-house counsel for Sonepar, a company in the industrial security and electrical sector. As part of her responsibilities, Daniela oversaw the negotiation of commercial agreements, as well as the Intellectual Property area of the company. Her practice included counseling for data privacy.

Daniela is a member of the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, A.C. (AMPPI), where she participates in the Geographical Indications and Appellations of Origin Committee.

Daniela has a Law Degree from Universidad Anahuac, where she graduated with her thesis Analysis of the Miscarriage of Justice in the Mexican Legal System. Daniela's academic experience includes a Diploma in Regulatory Compliance from the University of Pennsylvania and a Diploma in International Trade from Universidad Anahuac.

Additionally, she has thrice successfully completed the Summer School Program held by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI). Besides her mother tongue, which is Spanish, she is fluent in English, French and intermediate proficiency in Mexican sign language.
