Daniela has a law degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), with specialization in Foreign Trade Law. She studied at King's College London, and has a Master 2 in Trademarks, Models, and Industrial Designs from the Center for International Studies on Intellectual Property (CEIPI) at the University of Strasbourg, France, as well as a diploma in Economics from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM).
Currently, she is studying a master's degree in Intellectual Property and New Technologies at Mexico’s Universidad Panamericana.
Daniela is a member of the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, A.C. (AMPPI).
She has successfully completed the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) courses in Intellectual Property, Copyright and Related Rights, and Intellectual Property, Traditional Knowledge and Cultural Expressions. She is fluent in English and French.
Before joining the Intellectual Property area in Dorantes Advisors, Daniela served for five years as an attorney for the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), where she worked as an examiner in the areas of trademark registration under the framework of the Madrid Protocol, national trademark registration, appeals for review against a refusal of registration, as well as applications for the recognition of national or foreign geographical indications and appellations of origin.
