Fernanda studied law at the Faculty of Law of the UNAM.

She participated in an internship at a firm focused on international trade, where she supported antidumping investigations, reviews of international trade agreements, and monitoring of related international disputes. 

She completed her social service at the Human Rights Commission of Mexico City and has participated in, winning first place twice in, essay competitions on Human Rights.

In her free time, she often participates as a volunteer with nonprofit organizations serving vulnerable groups; she enjoys literature and painting and hopes to become a professional dancer.
